Simrit Sodhi has over 12 years of experience in the finance industry. Simrit’s extensive career has included working in various channels of banking, including licensed investment specialist and compliance officer. She has also held the position of District Manager at TD Bank Financial Group. Simrit’s experience also includes financial services management, customer service lead and management roles, as well as owning and operating her own event planning company, Hostess with the Mostess Inc. She also has several years of retail management experience.

Simrit brings a unique set of experiences to her work, including managing a niche market real estate investment portfolio and being a small business owner. 

Simrit comes from a first-generation immigrant family and is a proud Mississauga resident and Mississauga history buff. Simrit is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.

Simrit holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University, with a major in Marketing and specialization in Ecommerce. In her personal time, Simrit enjoys nature hikes, travelling, discovering new countries, and exploring new restaurants. She is also a mother of two beautiful boys.
